LADIES VISION GUILD

On November 1 a group of women gathered at the Ritz Carlton Beach Resort to discuss current and future treatments of eye diseases
worldwide. For Your Eyes Only is an annual ladies’ brunch that allows an elite group of women the opportunity to engage with some of
Bascom Palmer Eye Institutes talented female physicians. Speakers included Dr. Jaclyn Kovach who provided insight on the future of
Age Related Macular Degeneration treatments, Dr. Nina Berrocal who shared exciting breakthroughs in gene therapy and
Dr. Ranya Habash who enthralled guests with her fascinating work in artificial intelligence and what that means for the
future of ophthalmology. Special thanks to Key Private Bank and Trish Hare for their ongoing support and partnership.
In addition to the brunch, ladies were invited to join the Naples Ladies Vision Guild. The Ladies Vision Guild is an esteemed group of
women working together with Bascom Palmer and our local community. Annually the guild will select a research project or other
project to dedicate “Ladies Vision Guild” membership dues and talents towards. This past year, Bascom Palmer Pediatric patients in
Naples, Palm Beach and Miami were treated with coloring books and crayons as they awaited appointments thanks to the Guild.
