LIFE IN THE FACET LANE Worthy
Sea
by Diana Jarrett GG RMV T here is something addictive about being close to the water. The deep holds
another life form that we are often oblivious to until we draw near--listening
to the trance-inducing rhythms of the waves. And just like a cool drink, there’s
a refreshing quality about all seaside locales which stimulate the senses and make us
feel at once alive and in touch with ourselves.
I suspect that is why jewelry themes inspired by the ocean never lose their luster
with collectors. We all have memories of times spent on the beach no matter where
it was. These memories last a lifetime and can be easily reignited by a glimpse of
some token of our time spent there. That’s why shell collecting is such an avid
pastime for vacationers.
We found some darling ways to salute the seas with these brilliantly crafted
ocean themed jewelry items. Naples resident and designer William Boyajian draws
inspiration from the beautiful shoreline all around us. So his design sensibilities are
both expert and inviting. Ocean themed jewelry is for the holiday traveler and the
local native as well. Anyone who loves the beauty of nature surrounding us on the
Gulf will find these elegant jewels to resonate with them.
We tempt you with a few of Boyajian’s dazzling bijoux here. They are a bona fide
homage to the love and appreciation of what lies beneath. May we suggest that you
anchor in by Port Royal Jewelers to peruse them all soon. 3
