art of the French artist Bernard Villemot who
became famous for the successful advertising
posters he created for leading French firms such
as Air France, Perrier, Orangina and SNCF, the
French National Railway Company. Villemot
used large blocks of color and bold compositions
with streamlined human figures to portray the
understated elegance, style and sophistication of
