SELECTS DR. DAVID B. BOROFSKY AS INTERIM PRESIDENT
H odges University, a private, non-profit institution of higher
learning offering 25 undergraduate and nine graduate degree
programs of study, has named Dr. David B. Borofsky as interim
president. The appointment has been approved by the university’s Board
of Trustees.
Dr. Borofsky has more than 30 years of experience in leadership
positions with public universities, community colleges and for-profit
institutions nationwide. He succeeds Dr. Jeanette Brock who retired
from the institution after more than two decades of service with Hodges.
“Dr. Borofsky brings the perfect mix of institutional leadership,
fundraising and educational experience to the position at Hodges
University,” said John Agnelli, Chairman of the Board for Hodges
University. “We are especially pleased that he was able to come onboard
immediately, which ensured a seamless transition of leadership.”
Dr. Borofsky most recently served as president of Dakota State
University in Madison, S.D. He originally was appointed as the
institution’s interim president in February 2012 and ascended to the role
