Long-time Naples resident Ian Rudnick has filed paperwork to run as a candidate in the 2022 Naples City Council race.
Rudnick is a retired Law Enforcement Officer having served in variety of roles over 17 years with the Naples Police Department. He currently is employed as a Real Estate Sales Associate with Premiere Plus Realty Co.
A resident of Park Shore, Rudnick stated that he wants to ensure public safety for all city residents, maintain the environment, protect the small town character of Naples through controlled growth, and return fiscal responsibility to Naples City Council.
A graduate of Lely High School, Rudnick earned a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from Florida Atlantic University. He also earned certification through the Southwest Florida Public Service Academy and, more recently, completed training through the Homeland Security Task Force Officer Course.
