The two-story, 10,799 square foot traditional tropical estate, situated on the southernmost point of Marco Island overlooking Caxambas Bay and the Ten Thousand Islands, is nestled at the end of a gated, winding driveway with lush landscaping protecting its true magnificence.
The home has three bedrooms with four and a half baths. The estate is highlighted by expansive views, elaborate fixtures and features, plentiful natural light, and lush landscaping.
The homeowner paid homage to the native Calusa Indians in the interior design, using native textures and sophisticated functional features throughout.
“This custom-built residence epitomizes Florida living,” says President Mark Smith. “Our team took full advantage of the incredible lot when building this home, knowing that we wanted to prioritize outdoor living and views. With unparalleled and unobstructed views to the water, this home is a Floridian’s dream.”
An intricate LED light chandelier resembling a ‘cast net catching stars’ is suspended above the great room – an incredibly unique design choice made by Jinx McDonald.
“What we love about this chandelier and the home in general is that every angle offers a different perspective,” said Chrissy Howard of Jinx McDonald Interior Design.
The LED lights, embedded within a polycarbonate resin, create a completely unique astrological effect both when it is illuminated and off.
Harwick Homes’ second project, the remodel of a private Grey Oaks residence in partnership with Collins & DuPont Design Group, earned awards for Interior Design of the Year –Remodel ($400,001-$500,000), and Best Kitchen Design($750,001-$1,000,000).
Epitomizing the concept of building with a purpose, the project takes into account the owner’s history and specifications, and combines those with the builder’s expert recommendations, resulting in an incredibly successful outcome.
“The homeowner now has the quintessential home matching her lifestyle, with contemporary architectural elements and custom built spaces,” said Vice President Shane Klepko. ”
After remodeling every interior room and modernizing the outdoor kitchen, the builders created a contemporary space that matches the client’s lifestyle: unique, sophisticated, and timeless.”
